Find out latest news about ozone layer in Uzbekistan and abroad

As a result of close cooperation between the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Ecology and Environmental Protection and the United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan, a number of measures are being implemented to build the capacity of public and private companies, working in the cooling and air conditioning sector, to gradually reduce dependence of the country on imports and consumption of ozone-depleting substances, in particular Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), i.e. the refrigerants that deplete the ozone layer and have global warming potential.

On 18-21 April 2017 Regional Meeting of the Project “Initial Implementation of Accelerated HCFC Phase Out in the CEIT Region” took place in Minsk, Belarus.

Refrigeration specialists took part in the trainings organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Nature Protection jointly with the United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan in Navoi from April 6-8 and April 10-12, 2017.

Refrigeration sector specialists participated in the capacity building trainings organized jointly by the State Committee for Nature Protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan and United Nations Development Programme in Uzbekistan, which took place in Samarkand on 6-8 April and 10-12 April 2017.

Refrigeration specialists from Uzbekistan took part in the international training organized in the city of Rottenburg am Neckar (Germany) on 27-31 March 2017.
